Friendly Pagans history (re-launched April 2, 2010)
was originally a calendar resource for pagan events
in the Chicago, Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha,
Indiana areas that was running in the early 2000's.
After this 2010 re-launch social media took over any calendar needs of the community - so now on it's third revamp.
Beltaine Launch 2013. As you see before you - I am trying to provide an inexpensive place to list your pagan friendly business and become a great resource for the community who are looking for your services and products. Since we are building this as we go - please feel free to suggest categories you would like to be listed under.
Connecting people with people has always been my goal. To unify and centralized pagan friendly network of businesses and practitioners that are legitimate and complete. Get us from the underground to respect. I encourage all spiritual people who have a service or product to sell to list here. All who participate, maintain and publish on this website are promoting religious and magickal / craft awareness, and are helping to build a peaceful, fair, and free world for everyone AND completely responsible for their listing information.

Paganism is a spiritual way of life which has its roots
in the ancient nature religions of the world. Think
about it we were farmers and hunters following the
seasons. Such belief in the sacredness of all things
can be found world-wide. We celebrate the sanctity of
Nature, revering the Divine in all things; the vast,
unknowable spirit that runs through the universe, both
seen and unseen.
Pagans understand that we have many tools within our grasp to help us in our life. Some of us perform rituals, cast spells, pray, use herbs, meditation, Homeopathy, and deal in magick in all it's forms. We don't all "do" the same things. But the basic "reason" we are doing these things are the same. Basically, we are people who, like most who have faith in a higher power, try to live a good life and honor our God(s) and Goddesses, by working for a happier world through prayer or some sort of energy work.
Magick is energy work. that's why we call it WORK much like a Christians uses magick which is prayer by asking their God to do the miracle for them.
For all those who equate being a Pagan with devil worship and Satanism, please understand that Satan is part of the Judaea-Christian beliefs and has nothing to do with paganism. Also, not all Pagans are witches (Wiccan) much like not all Christians are Methodist. Not all pagans cast spells... not all Christians pray the rosary... a magickal item of the church.You Get It.
